Marseille 2-3 Paris FC: Sinayoko Hat-Trick Stuns Genesio’s Side

Paris FC left Marseille on 6 September with a statement result and a clear message for Ligue 1: this is not a soft start, it is a real project with points on the board. S. The Match

How Paris FC Changed It

The Paris FC bench work was sharp.

Rudy Matondo came on for Pablo Pagis in the 64th minute and was booked in the 65th minute for a foul, a risky start but also a sign of Paris FC keeping legs and aggression in wide areas. Late management followed in the first minute of stoppage time: Moustapha Mbow replaced Maxime López, Omar Sissoko replaced Lassine Sinayoko, Ulisses Garcia replaced Emerson, and Faris Moumbagna replaced Himad Abdelli.

Paris FC closed it with control, not chaos.

Lassine Sinayoko was the match. Three goals, including the penalty in the 86th minute, four shots on target, and the nerve to decide it after Marseille had twice come back. This was a centre-forward performance built on timing and clarity.

Amine Gouiri deserved more. He scored in the 8th minute and the 53rd minute, carried Marseille’s finishing burden, and gave Genesio the platform to win the game. Marseille could not protect it.

Pablo Pagis was crucial before his 64th-minute withdrawal. His assist in the 19th minute restored Paris FC’s lead, and his four key passes show why Marseille struggled to control the spaces around their midfield line.

Amine Harit was Marseille’s best connector. His assist for Gouiri in the 53rd minute, plus four key passes, kept OM alive. But Harit and Gouiri could not compensate for a team that allowed Paris FC too many clear attacking moments.

A. Camara also deserves mention. Eight tackles, nine duels won, and a full 90 minutes in a back five that bent but did not break.
